Project Brief
Restoration of a 19th Century Georgian Grade II Listed city centre property to provide contemporary family accommodation in a building previously used as office accommdation for over 40 years.

Project Scope
Design, Planning Approval, Listed Building Consent, Specification, Sourcing, Construction and Project Management.

Project Solution
Working closely with the local authority conservation team a comprehensive repair and restoration programme was carried out to protect the fabric of this historically important Grade II Listed building.

The existing extension was removed and replaced with a sympathetic addition in a traditional style. Materials used in the extension included bespoke timber sash windows, handmade bricks, bespoke Portland Stone cills and coping stones, handmade gauged brick arches and bespoke ironwork.

The interior was finished with a highly contemporary German kitchen on the basement level and traditionally styled Carrera marble bathroom. All other features and fittings were sourced to match exactly those of the period.
